Microneedling  with  Platelet  Riche  Plasma  (PRP)  Pre  and  Post  Treatment

Microneedling  utilizes  a  hand-‐held  skin  needling  device  (Eclipse  Micropen™)  to  create  multiple,

tiny,  superficial  micro-‐channel  wounds  in  the  skin.    Microneedling  improves  wrinkles,  scars,

stretch  marks,  and  overall  skin  appearance  by  stimulating  new  collagen  formation.    Beauty

promoting/  age-‐defying  topical  skin  care  products  or  PRP  is  also  absorbed  more  effectively.    The

procedure  can  be  performed  on  most  of  the  body  including  the  face,  neck,  décolleté,  arms,

hands,  legs,  abdomen,  and  back.    A  treatment  takes  about  15-‐60  minutes  depending  on  the  size

of  the  treated  area.    Patients  notice  visible  changes  to  the  skin  over  the  course  of  days  and

weeks  after  treatment.    It  is  recommended  that  2-‐3  treatments  be  spaced  4-‐5  weeks  apart  for

best  results.    Treatments  spaced  out  further  than  5  weeks  take  longer  to  achieve  desired

results.
