Hello from the Roscoe Village Foundation in Coshocton, OH!
We've begun our vendor selection process for the 48th annual Apple Butter Stirrin', and would love for you to
apply for a booth space. Please read the cover letter and the guidelines enclosed in your vendor package
This year's dates are October 20, 21 & 22, and we anticipate 10-12,000 visitors over the 3-day weekend. The
Apple Butter Stirrin' has continued to bring guests from all over the state, and we are working diligently to
ensure that it remains a successful event for both Roscoe Village and all the vendors we invite to participate.
Enclosed you will find the application and guidelines. Completion of both is required in order to be placed
in front of our festival committee for approval. As per the guidelines, we will continue to ask you to dress
accordingly -- you must follow the guidelines on the enclosed; and not to promote product pertaining to
politics, religion or race. For your protection, we recommend Certificate of Liability insurance naming the
Roscoe Village Foundation, Inc. as a certificate holder; however this will not keep you from being selected as a
Please remember, all products brought to the Apple Butter Stirrin' (excluding food items) must be hand-made.
Items may be old-time arts and crafts that were traditionally created by hand and possibly demonstrated,
such as soap making, candle dipping, etc. You may also choose more modern arts and crafts. We would also
like to encourage you to offer apple products in your booth, thus highlighting the festival name Apple Butter
Stirrin'. We recommend you bring items to weight your tent. The October weather can be a little breezy.
The admission fee for guests to get into the festival is $5.00 which includes entry into the Living History
buildings for the Living History Tour. Booth fees for crafters/artisans have remained constant for the past
several years and have not been raised for 2017. Food vendors will again have a small registration fee to help
defray the cost for electricity, water and their booth. The 10% of sales will be in addition to the registration
fee. We are doing all we can to ensure that you have the opportunity to participate in the Apple Butter Stirrin'
Festival at a reasonable rate. In return, we continue our efforts to grow in order to offer your patrons a
wonderful variety of arts and crafts.
The enclosed application is due by August 31, 2017. If you are a returning vendor and would like to have
your same booth, you must meet the August 31st date. After that date, we will begin filling booths
from the center out. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 800-877-1830 ext.
16 or 740-622-7644 ext. 16 or email me at email@example.com. You may also fax your
information to me at 740-623-6555.
We hope you will be part of this wonderful festival in Roscoe Village!
